Hi tumblr! Long time no see. The thesis short I directed in 2019, “Kaeru” is now available to view on YT and Vimeo! I’m still not actively posting on this account but I know a lot of people who followed me on here supported the film in its Kickstarter days, so wanted to post a bit of an update. This film is a culmination of my own journey with self-doubt, as well as my lovely friends and crew who worked on it. I hope that watching it reminds you of the childhood joy and creativity that made you want to pursue art in whatever form!

It’s been a full year since this movie broke my heart. It came out around the same time a lot of other things in my life were ending— I graduated college and finished my short film, and I lost the character who had become my coping mechanism throughout the years. It sounds pathetic to have based so much of my identity around this fictional character, and it’s not like he stopped existing after he died in a movie. But my love of Iron Man helped me make friends, got me through tough times, and most importantly taught me that it’s never too late to try to become a better person. It even gave me a new way to tell people I love them— I love you 3000. I did! I was super lucky and got in decently early but the wly3000 was already sold out too when I got in… hopefully there will still be some kind of standby queue for it? 😭😭😭 Good luck with the line, I hope you can get in as well!! 😊
Hi guys, sorry I haven’t posted in a while… the post-grad art block hit me hard but after a much-needed break I’m ready to start posting more soon! I’m gonna go to D23 Expo this Friday (I got reservations for the Legends panel so I GET TO SEE RDJ😱 ), and I’m sure all the news coming out from there will get me excited to start drawing more fanart!
